Casper:How do you feel about being selected as our excellent student of November?
Kim:Hello, everyone! My name is Kim. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to share my feeling. It’s an onor to be excellent student of this month. I'm really very happy and excited. I haven't thought of that I could be. I couldn't believe when my tutor told me that. I don't think I am the hardest student in WORLD, but I am very lucky. There is always an excellent student being selected every month, and I want to be the next. Today, that has come true. Thank you for my tutor's encouragement. Thank you for my course consultant's support. Thank you for all the teachers who always help me in WORLD. I will keep learning and never give up. That's all my feeling, thank you!
Casper:How long have you been learning English?
Kim:I have been learning English in WORLD for 5 months. I had learned in school for eight years, but I learn it only for academic purposes, not as a communication tool. That's why I didn't like studying English before.
Casper:What do you like to do in your free time?
Kim:In my free time, I like listing to music, doing exercise, and learning English, but most of the time, I like watching foreign films, like, Iron Man, The Avengers, and Superman and so on.
Casper:How do you think about learning in World?
Kim:I like learning in World, it is very interesting. All the teachers and students are very nice. I can make new friends, communicate with foreign teachers. And I don't need to fear making mistakes. The more talk with foreign teachers, the more confident I will be. I believe that one day, I can speak English well through my effort. In WORLD, I'm so thankful to all my teachers.
Casper:Do you have any English learning experience to share with our students?
Kim:Of course, I have much experience about learning English. In my opinion, listening, speaking, reading and writing are good ways to learn English. We must recite all the lessons we have learned and review them every once in a while. Usually, I like watching foreign films when I am free, and write down the words I have never learned, then recite them. It is useful to read English aloud every morning. Also, we should talk more to each other when we have classes. A few days later, you will find progress. The harder you work the luckier you will be!
