1.Music is a great teacher!
When I was a teen, I laways listened to music in English, I learned so many words and phrases.
2.Travel would be helpful.
I travelled whenever possible. I found English to be the world language, not a foreign language. If you learn another language well enough you can travel to other countries. If you travel there you can improve that language again. It's a virtuous cycle.
3.Don't always think something is foreign, that's for the whole world.
I also consider French and Spanish to be world languages, not foreign languages. We can see evidence in the US passport.
4.Your will to change matters.
Language is a passport out of poverty and out of hard realities. Very poor people in India travel on the tops of trains. Better education and more languages can solve this problem.
5. Practice makes perfect.
When you stop speaking and reading you forget. It's a case of "use it or lose it".
